One-component, fast-drying vinyl coating for use as primer or midcoat in atmospheric and immersed environments. Primarily used as tie coat for antifouling systems on topsides, decks, and superstructures. Single pack — no mixing required. IMO Low Flame Spread certified.
Tie Coat / Intermediate (Marine)
Safeguard Universal ES
Two-component vinyl epoxy tie coat designed between epoxy primers and antifouling systems. Also serves as holding primer for a wide range of topcoats. For atmospheric and immersed environments up to very high corrosivity. Suitable for offshore splash zones, water inlets, cooling pipes, jetties, and bridges. Sub-zero application capable.
